At the south west entrance to Monfragüe from Trujillo, there is an amazing view of the rocky escarpment of Peña Falcón from Salto de Gitano. It is the most symbolic and most-photographed spot in Monfragüe and supports an equally amazing community of birds, especially vultures and eagles.
