Carrion Crow
The all black Carrion Crow is one of the cleverest and most adaptable of our birds which is usually found alone or in pairs. The closely related Hooded Crow found in northern areas of the UK has recently been split as a separate species.

The Carrion Crow can be seen all year round in a wide range of habitats such as urban areas, farmland, woodlands, mountains, moorlands and seashores.
