Bergen to Oslo railway

The Bergensbanen is a 231 mile long railway line between Bergen and Hønefoss in Norway. The name is often applied for the entire route from Bergen via Drammen to Oslo, a distance of 308 miles. It is the highest mainline railway line in northern Europe, crossing the Hardangervidda plateau at 4,060 feet (1222 metres) above sea level.
