Egyptian Goose
| << | ![]() The Egyptian Goose is a pale brown and grey goose with distinctive dark brown eye-patches and contrasting white wing patches in flight. It was introduced as an ornamental wildfowl species which escaped in to the wild and now successfully breeds in a feral state.
They can be seen all year round on gravel pits and lowland lakes and wetlands. The north Norfolk coast and Norfolk Broads holds the highest numbers. Date: 27th April 2006 Location: Flitcham, Norfolk |
