Wheatear fledgling - Passerines
The Wheatear is a small mainly ground-dwelling bird and hops or runs on the ground. It is a summer visitor and breeds in suitable upland habitat mainly in western and northern UK. It can also be seen on passage at coastal migration watchpoints and inland. It winters in central Africa.

This male Wheatear was very confiding and provided good views as it perched on cliff-side rocks.
