Sango Bay, Sutherland
Sango Bay is a beautiful sandy bay on the north coast of Sutherland and located by the village of Durness 4 miles west of Loch Eriboll. The bay is approximately half a mile in width and surrounded by low cliffs.

By M mck.: We first found the waterfall about 1979.we were caravanning at gairloch and came across this lovely beach. Our children were young. We made enqirries and a lady said we could bring our caravan to her field, she would keep us going with fresh water, for a nightly fee. It was like paradise. We’ve been there in all weathers, but mostly good. The prescious memories it brings back to me. We saw a private plane land on the beach one day. Saw the Royal yacht. For a quiet place there was always something happening.
