Oldshoremore, Sutherland
Beyond Kinlochbervie is Oldshoremore and one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in Sutherland. Formed from eroded sandstone and seashells, the white sandy beach is surrounded by marram grass dunes (machair). The water is beautifully clear and often a stunning turquoise colour.
Oldshoremore is a remote crofting township in the far north west of Scotland and the bay has always been a personal favourite.
