By Ruth Rosenthal: Thank you for including info on where these photos were taken. I'm am amateur photographer and will be visiting the Shetland mainland on a cruise in mid-june. We won't have much time to see beautiful Shetland but I'd like to drive to the Eshaness area for some photography, and then down to Sumburgh Head to look for puffins. I was wondering if you could tell me if the photos of the drongs can be seen from the road you mentioned or if I'll need to walk a ways to get a decent view of the drongs. I have limited time, and my husband has limited feet, so I need to choose my stops wisely! Also, is it hard to find, and is a lot of walking involved, to find a view of Dore Holm once I get to the Eshaness lighthouse? Any help you can give me would be appreciated. I plan to use any photos I take simply for own enjoyment - and hope to get some that capture the beauty of the Shetland Islands! Thank you.
